The first race weekend of the 2017 China GT Championship recently took place at the Beijing Audi Goldenport Motor Park, and was also the scene of a debut of a promising new team: Taiwanese powerhouse D2 Racing.
D2 was founded in 1997 and is the largest Taiwanese manufacturer of high-performance shock absorbers, braking systems and pneumatic components. This year, D2 Racing has sent a Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Kuo Kuo Hsin in pursuit of the GT3 title, while Huang Hsi Chan takes on the GTC class in a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo.
Kuo Kuo Hsin made a memorable debut in the opening weekend of races in the GT3 class. As a long-time leader of the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival - Circuit-Hero One (GT3 Class), D2 Racing is sure to put on a better performance in the next round of races.
