Motorsports in China is experiencing significant growth, marking a coming of age for Chinese motorsports and opening up a world of opportunities for its drivers as well as those seeking the ideal development environment to test their skills alongside their international peers at the world’s most iconic GT events. The increased participation at the 24 Hours of Spa and Bathurst 12 hour by Asian drivers’ and teams’ as well as by those automotive manufacturers with single-make series in Asia demonstrates this trend.
Chinese motorsports is steadily growing and the China GT Championship is playing a central role in fostering this growth. In 2018, China GT enters its third season and has come to learn of the desire from its drivers to compete at these hallmark events as a way to further enhance either their careers or personal satisfaction enjoyed whilst racing.
This season’s official two day test will be held at Beijing Goldenport Motor Park on April 21/22, which prefaces a six event, 12- race campaign that begins at Zhuhai International Circuit on May 11-13.
