The China Equity AMR team had a glorious start to the 2017 season, with their time at the Beijing Audi Goldenport Motor Park resulting in podium finishes in both rounds of the newly-established GT4 class.
The GT4 class is a completely new class for the 2017 season of the China GT Championship. The new season also sees Tian Xu and Yang Mengqiao make their debut as the drivers of the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for the new kids on the block, China Equity Group AMR.

Tian Xu and Yang Mengqiao reached the finish line of the first round of finals without a hitch, finally placing third and taking a spot on the podium.
In the second round, Tian Xu and Yang Mengqiao ran away with pole position after qualifying with a time of 1:08.713, allowing them to lead the pack in the finals. During the actual race, China Equity AMR once again had a chance at the podium, eventually finishing the race in third yet again.
