China GT is taking to the tracks of Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) for the second time this summer. The latest title battle will take place on 29-30 July – what can we expect from this upcoming race weekend?

The Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) is a 4.3 km long track featuring 14 corners. It has witnessed a number of exciting overtaking manoeuvers and incredible battles on China GT’s second race weekend that left the spectators wanting more.
This weekend, China GT is again featuring the three Classes of GT3, GTC and GT4, as well as the GT Asia Presented by China GT, Porsche GT3 Cup Trophy China presented by China GT and China GT Audi Challenge. In addition, the championship will be partnering with the Formula Masters China Series (FMCS) to stage a festival of speed for motorsports fans in the Southern region.

China GT featured a record-breaking 35 entries in Round #3 & #4 of races.
Zhuhai’s changing weather has put a spanner in the works for drivers and teams in the last two rounds of title fight. The winners of each of the GT3, GTC and GT4 Classes in Round #3 were: Wang Liang /Martin Rump of Kings, Huang Hsi Chan of D2 Racing and Roelof Bruins/David Mclntyre of The Winning Team. Round #4 saw Eric Lo/Melvin Moh of Audi Hong Kong, Bian Hao/Will Bamber of JRM Force China and Roelof Bruins/David Mclntyre of The Winning Team taking the crown in the respective GT3, GTC and GT4 Class.
Looking Ahead
China GT has made adjustment to the Balance of Performance (BoP) based on last rounds’ data to ensure each marque’s performance is on par with one another.
As we are heading halfway through the season, the teams and drivers are seeking to extract more performance out of their cars and themselves. We are expecting the next Zhuhai race weekend to be closely fought and we look forward to seeing you all there!
