The opening battle for the 2017 China GT Championship kicked off in Beijing on the 13th May 2017. Despite the fact that the inaugural China GT season began in 2016, the competition has already grown in leaps and bounds, with 32 cars participating in the 2017 season. At 12 pm on 13th May 2017, the 2017 China GT Championship opening ceremony was held at the Beijing Goldenport Motor Park. Mr Sun Wei, the General Manager of China GT Official Logistics Partner, P.G.Logistics, Jim Ye, Chairman of Goldenport Holdings, Mr Michael Miao, Vice President of Goldenport Enterprises and Mr. Chen Zhong, General Manager of China GT Management Co., Ltd. were among those in attendance.
