Taiwan based racing team D2 Racing will contest the GT3 and GTC class in the 2017 China GT Championship.
Since 1997, D2 Racing has specialised in the development and production of high performance suspension and brake component. The Taiwanese hotshot has been a reigning champion of the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival GT3 Class, and has contested the Macau Grand Prix with its Mercedes-AMG GT3.
“We will compete in the 2017 China GT with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 and a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo, with a possibility of adding another Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 and Audi R8 LMS,” explains Chiu Hsin Lung, D2 Racing’s team manager and chief mechanic. “We will also have a strong driver lineup, with two-time Pan Delta Super Racing Festival GT3 champion Kuo Kuo Hsin in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and 2016 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival GT champion Huang Hsi Chan in the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo. China GT is the most celebrated motor racing event in China, and we look forward to competing with the best teams and push all the way to the final round.”
