BREAKING NEWS – Leading up to the Chinese New Year a swarm of teams have confirmed their entries into the upcoming season of the China GT Championship. Among those include KINGS Racing having confirmed 4 cars in what will be a force to be reckoned with on-track.
KINGS Racing co-founder QIN Fen is chairman of Shanghai Fenrong Investment Company, founder of the KINGS basketball team, and investor in the e-gaming sphere with his very own KINGS Bund E-Gaming Club. With the support of his many fans to create the second generation, QIN is an avid enthusiast of sportcars having amassed a collection that includes: McLaren P1, McLaren 650s, Agera R – Koenigsegg, La Ferrari, Porsche 918 among others. The second of the co-founders XU Jia continues his China GT campaign after a strong inaugural season last year achieving runner-up in 3 rounds. KINGS Racing have set goals to defend their top 3 finishing positions, whilst strive to stand on the top step on the podium.
XU Jia will again be a solo pilot of an Audi R8 LMS GT3, whilst XU Wei will pilot a Ferrari 458 GT3, with yet to be named drivers of two Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo in GTC class.
KINGS Racing lead driver XU Jia is the new face of China’s race tracks for almost two years, accumulating more than 10 years of racing experience starting his trade in karts in the Dunlop Series in Malaysia. He obverses: “that a large gap exists between motor racing between Europe and China, yet China GT provides a platform for Chinese drivers and for Chinese motorsport to advance to the next step, so I am looking forward to seen continued growth”. XU further added: “in 2017, China GT made a strong impact attracting many drivers from all types of backgrounds. Drivers of KINGS Racing never shy away from a challenge as we (the drivers) are relatively young and share a strong affection for sports cars, motorsport and sports in general. Racing cars epitomize speed and passion which are traits of the KINGS image.
